Keys are stored AES-256 encrypted and are write-only — after saving, even you only see the last four characters. They are injected server-side into your app; they never reach the browser, the AI model, or the chat.
Never blocked, never faked
Your app builds and runs before any key is connected. Missing a key? Features degrade honestly — a visible setup note or a designed fallback, never a fake “sent!” or an empty gray box.
