Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Fabiano Frascati (sole proprietorship, operator of opix, “we”) processes, why, and your rights. We are the controller for data about opix users, and a processor for the end-user data inside the apps you build.

Data we process

  • Account data: email, hashed password, workspace and billing details.
  • Project data: your prompts, generated code, project files and version history.
  • Usage & metering: builds, credits, model/token costs, and logs needed to run and debug the Service.
  • Technical data: IP, device/browser info, and cookies (see below).

Why we process it

  • to provide the Service (build, preview, publish, export): contractual necessity;
  • to bill you and prevent fraud and abuse: legitimate interest or legal obligation;
  • to improve reliability and quality: legitimate interest;
  • with consent, for optional product analytics.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private project content to train foundation models. AI requests are sent to our model gateway with data-retention minimised where the provider supports it.

Subprocessors

We share data with vetted providers only as needed to run opix, including:

  • cloud & database hosting (EU region where available);
  • AI model gateway / inference;
  • payment processing;
  • error tracking and product analytics (optional);
  • email delivery.

A current subprocessor list is available on request at fabiano.frascati@gmail.com.

Storage & residency

We pin core data to the EU (Frankfurt) where possible. Some subprocessors may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

Retention

We keep account and project data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. invoices).

Your rights

Under the Swiss revDSG and the GDPR you may access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and object to certain processing. Contact fabiano.frascati@gmail.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Switzerland, the FDPIC).

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and, with your consent, optional analytics cookies. You can change your choice any time via the cookie banner.

EU / UK representative

opix is operated from Switzerland. Where the scale of our processing requires an EU/UK representative under Article 27 GDPR, we will appoint one and publish the details here. Until then, please direct any EU/UK data-protection request to the contact below and we will respond directly.
