No placeholders

opix apps ship with real imagery, not gray boxes. Two sources feed this:

• The starter library (free). For common themes — coffee shops, restaurants, SaaS products, portfolios, fitness studios, agencies — opix ships a curated, style-locked photo set. On a new build it matches your prompt to a theme and copies those images in at no cost, so most sites start with coherent, on-brand photography.
• Generated on demand. Bespoke shots the library can't cover are generated during the build with a consistent art direction per project, so hero, section, and detail images look like one shoot rather than a stock-photo collage.

Every generated image is optimized before it touches your app: resized to sensible web dimensions (max 1600px wide) and compressed, so your pages stay fast.

Your own images

Attach images in chat — paste, drag in, or pick files. Up to 4 per message, 4 MB each, PNG/JPEG/WebP/GIF/SVG. Uploads are stored inside your project under public/images/uploads/ and described to the builder, so "use the second photo as the hero" just works.

Uploads are deduplicated by content and survive sandbox recycling, restores, and reloads — they're part of your project, and they come along in every export.
